Everest throws out some strange read results, although the memory write and copy performances are notably better thanks to the increase in clock speed (and DDR3 for a change). However, this can be offset or improved by increasing the northbridge frequency for Phenom II CPUs, which directly improves the read performance by three to four percent, write performance seven to ten percent, and copy performance of two to five percent per 200MHz increment.
